Volvo only makes a small range of vehicles, but they ensure that all vehicles are the best when it comes to safety. Volvo literally focused its marketing campaign on the safety features and the importance of safety in the car.

Ultimately, both brands are excellent when it comes to ensuring the safety of their customers. Volvo has a slight advantage over Tesla due to its long history of safety measurements. Volvo has been making the safest cars for decades. Tesla, on the other hand, is still new to the market and only started producing cars in 2008. So it may be that Tesla will one day overtake Volvo, but right now Volvo has the edge when it comes to safety.
