FAQ

Can you use these pucks with the modern spare scissors jack?

I don't think it will work. you need a good pad base for the puck to sit on and all the scissor jacks I have used in the past just had a pinch weld lip. If the jack has a large pad on it to sit the puck level it may work

I used one puck and a floor jack to lift one side of the car to rotate tires, I noticed the puck starting to bulge out under load, is this normal?

What type of floor jack are you using? If you are using one with the larger 3”+ jack pad you should have no real bulging.

Will these fit a 2020 Model 3?
I expect so, they fit my late 2019 M3 very well

Will this work for the 2021 model 3?
Yes, these pucks have been tested on the 2021 model 3 and they fit well.

For my model Y.....can you confirm that any jack can be used? And do you need to lift the entire right or left side of the car?

Yes, it will work for your model Y. I would suggest not lifting up the entire side of your car from a single jack point. It is unsafe, and remember these vehicles are very heavy. For a tire repair, you will obviously only have to lift up one corner of the car. If you are doing a tire rotation I would suggest using two

Does this also fit model 3?
Yes, it does. It was designed to fit the model 3

I saw some jack pads that were listed as for the model3 but further down specified not 2019 model3. Do these fit the 2019 model3?

All model 3 vehicles from 2017 - 2019 will work and I am not aware of any changes in 2020 that will not allow the pads to work

What is the height dimension for these pads?
Dimensions are 3” in diameter. 1” tall not counting the portion that goes into the hole
