Common Troubleshooting Guide

1.Black screen (the screen does not light up after installation)

Reason:

  • The power supply fuse is burnt out
  • Microprocessor abnormal operation caused by other factors
  • After unplugging the host connector, it is not plugged in within 5 minutes
  • The host or screen plug is not plugged tightly

Solution:

  • Replace the fuse of the same model
  • Restart the key fob
  • Connect all the wire harnesses, lock the car for 2 hours, and keep the 
  • mobile phone and remote key more than 20 meters away from the car, and check whether the screen can be set up after 2 hours
  • Reconnect the host plug

2.The screen cannot be displayed after the startup

Reason:

  • Screen data error

Solution:

  • Press the RST reset button on the right side of the screen to restart the system

3.Unable to enter the Navigation

Reason:

  • Navigation software is uninstalled or deleted

Solution:

  • Re install the navigation software

4.Navigation road conditions cannot be updated

Reason:

  • WIFI is not connected or there is no 4G network

Solution:

  • Connect WIFI to synchronize online map or check whether there is 4G signal

5.Satellite receiving is not located

Reason:

  • GPS antenna position interferes

Solution:

  • Relocate the position

6.The original vehicle information is not synchronized or displayed

Reason:

  • The protocol wire of the power wire is not connected

Solution:

  • Reconnect the wire and check the wired interface

7.Carplay can't connect after a period of time

Reason:

  • Carplay did not connect in the correct way or the screen software version is outdated

Solution:

  • Reconnect Bluetooth or upgrade APP; Contact aftersale service or download the upgrade software from the website

8.After Tesla upgraded, the screen is always on

Reason:

  • The system signal is not synchronized

Solution:

  • Unplug the power cable and reconnect

9.There is an echo during the call

Reason:

  • Signal jamming

Solution:

  • 1. Set the default call path to the original vehicle Bluetooth or external speakers.
  • 2. When using carplay, if you want to route calls through the car or speakers by default, you need to go to iPhone.Settings>Accessibility>Touch>Call Audio Routing>Set as Bluetooth headset and then default to any Bluetooth device. In this case, Tesla is selected.

10.Sound has delay

Reason:

  • Incorrect setting

Solution:

  • Check whether auto is selected in the setting instead of the speaker

As Tesmag products are usually quite valuable, please inspect the package upon receiving it. Don't sign the delivery or open the box when it's chipped or damaged. In these situations, please contact Tesmag Customer services.

After you (or somebody else on your benefit ) sign for your product, Tesmag will consider this your approval of the package, amount, and merchandise. To protect your rights, you're highly suggested to take a complete unboxing video and inspect the items in line with the packing list. If items are damaged or missing, please get Tesmag Customer Service within 24 hours of receiving the package so we can solve the issue immediately.
